- How do I book you?
Simply send me an email with the venue, date and any other information you require including your phone number. I will email you back with my availability and if successful see the go to the booking form link at the bottom of this page.
- Do you have Public Liability Insurance & a PAT certificate
Yes I have public liability of £5million and a Portable Appliance Testing certificate. If you venue requires proof of this simply let me know and i ill forward the paperwork to them. I also have a Pro Dub licence which allows me to copy and play digital music.
- Can you set up earlier to avoid any disruptions?
Yes no problem. I can set up in the morning, afternoon or event the night before. Additional rates can apply on this service and it depends on the venue.
- Can we choose our own music?
Yes, you get a 30 track selection when booking and you can add to that with an optional extra. You can supply the list with the booking form or email it directly to me. I will take note of your musical requirements for the night, take requests and read the crowd. I have mobile internet so can download almost any track.
- What equipment do you have?
I use state of the art DMX controlled led lighting systems and top of the range Denon digital music players. This is backed up with a mac laptop and Denon CD decks. My Tannoy PA and Crown Amps have a quality sound without being loud. All of my equipment has been designed to "fit in" with your venue, look stunning. It will not look like your average mobile disco monstrosity with cables, trussing etc. all over the place. All of my equipment has back up if something went wrong and it has all been electrically tested for safety.
- How far in advance do i need to book you?
As soon as you can as many popular wedding dates are booked up fast! You can pay the booking fee straight away and send any other information after. Call me today for an informal chat - 078355 18539
- Can i come and watch you perform?
Sorry, unfortunately most of my events are private functions. If any events do arise where I am Djing in public then your more than welcome to come along, but it will probably be a different event to your wedding performance though. You are more than welcome to grill me with any questions on our pre wedding meeting :-)
- What happens if you are ill or cannot DJ on the day?
I own Your DJ so have access to many full time professional DJ's whom may not be working on the day. I have only missed one event in my career due to illness. It took me about 5 minutes to find one of my best DJ's who covered the gig with one hours notice and did an amazing job! I will contact your venue or wedding planner to advise you of the situation if it shall arise, which is not very likely.
- How do i pay you?
Before our pre wedding meeting I require a 30% booking fee which can be paid by bacs, bank transfer or cheque. The remanding balance can be paid in full prior to your wedding as separate payments on a weekly or monthly basis or as cash after setting up on the day.
- What sort of music do you play?
I play every type of music possible. From classical to rock I have a huge selection of tracks to suit anyone. Each wedding will be tailored to your requirements, your guests requests and reading the crowd. You can theme the music for your wedding if you wish and requests are gladly taken.
- Do you talk over the music with cheesy comments?
NO. DJ's who do this belong in the last century. I am a modern DJ and I only use the microphone to make announcements or give out track requests. At key points in the night I will gather all of your guests together and make a big fuss of you but with no cheesy voices, I promise!
- I have another DJ and he said he would do it for £195
I understand that money can be tight especially with weddings. With Djing and most things in life you generally get what you pay for.Your wedding is one of the most important days of your life and I really do know what I am doing. I also offer many services that most DJ's could not provide nd all at a very competitive price. You also get to meet mme and discuss your plans for the day.
- Can you play for a mixture of ages?
Yes i regularly play at many difference events from 16th birthdays to 80th birthdays in many forms of venues. I can entertain your whole family without playing the music too loud.
- How long does it take for you to set up?
Without optional extras about 1 hour comfortably. With optional extras between one and four hours. We can discuss this on our pre wedding meeting as it depends largely on the venue and other important factors
